ICPF – Tech’s Engineering Management module.
Management has become an integral part of the industry today and multiple skills have become the norm of business. IAS responds to this need-of-the-hour by integrating a management module in its ICPF – Tech course. This module is meant to strengthen the business acumen of students by familiarizing them with management principles and tools. This will prepare students to perform better in modern-day industry environments and maximizes their opportunities across the spectrum.
For a successful career, Engineers/Management students are required to know how to manage a company, the coworkers and the clients. This is very much lacking which the industry insists on young job seekers. Keeping this in mind, the ICPF – Tech course contains an Engineering management module to equip students with modern-day management knowledge so that they perform better in today’s demanding industrial environments and thereby creating wider opportunities. The module includes the following fields:
- Management and Organization
- Engineering Management
- Project Management
- Production and Operation Management
- Value Engineering
- Strategic Planning Forecasting/Risk/Contengincy/Estimation
- Agile/Lean Product/JIT
- Modern issues in Management
At the end of the course, students are required to write an entrance exam for Master studies. Upon clearing the exam (DSH/TestDaF/Telc), students are eligible to join Masters Degree at Allensbach University or to 180+ other Universities in Germany.

FAQ - ICPF-Tech
#1 - Which program is suitable for me ICPF Tech or ICPF Tech plus?
If you already have a B1 level of German then can join ICPF Tech Plus, otherwise 15 months ICPF Tech is the correct option.
#2 - Do I need prior German language?
That depends on the chosen ICPF Tech Program (Tech Plus = 9 months requires German B1, Tech = 15 months requires IELTS and some German level is highly recommended). As all students of ICPF Tech 15 months must also be waiting for the admission letter, opening of blocked account and visa date availability and the visa processing time, actually its quite easy to complete some German levels which actually increases the quality of your application and also shows that you are really motivated to go to Germany.
German language greatly helps the student’s day to day activities also to get to know the German culture and people faster. We highly recommend students to learn some basic German. If the participant wants to cut short the Program (9 months) Tech Plus- then need to complete the B1 level in his/her home country.
#3 - Do I need to provide English Proficiency Test result?
Yes for 15 months course and no need for 9 month Tech Plus. English proficiency test results needs to be provided (IELTS, PTE, Cambridge Test, Toefl etc.). This is to prove that the student is able to communicate in one foreign language without a problem. If the student also has proficiency in German (B1 level) & could speak and understand, the english results are not necessary anymore.
#4 - What is included in the course fees?
The Course fees for ICPF-Tech include the following:
- Tuition fees
- Study materials

Most of our new students will be staying at the following address (We request students to give this address for Visa purposes):
#6 - How do I cover the living cost (Blocked Account)?
A blocked account is required in addition to course fees for payment of living costs like food, clothes and accommodation. The blocked account is opened in the name of the student him/herself in a German Bank (at the moment Deutsche Bank is the only Bank in Germany where a student can open a blocked account without being in Germany). The money the student deposits in it is used to cover the cost of living (food, clothes, leisure activities), accommodation, any other administrative fees etc. In general this money is to cover the everyday living cost.
Normally the account is blocked for one year. Currently Blocked account has to be in the amount of 8640 Euros for 15 months program and 6480 Euro for ICPF Tech Plus 9 months (9×720€). Maximum a student can withdraw 720€ per month.
